separate game room, kids’ playrooms, big screens with Direc TV, baby changing facilities, air hockey and foosball. I don’t sponsor a team right now. I’ve thought about doing some Little League baseball marketing. Instead of buying a sign to put up in the outfield, which might cost $200, I could use that money to make pizzas, and go give them away at the ballpark and hand out business cards. I really am looking to avoid traditional marketing so I can set myself apart.

What promotions do you have in mind for 2009?

Since I’ve been open for only a few months, I really want to evaluate the specials that we’re currently offering. On Monday and Wednesdays, we’ll continue our offer of 50% off on any second pizza order. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we’ll offer $4 off any pizza—no coupon needed. And we’ll continue our Royalty Rewards program. Also, on Mondays through Thursdays, we’ll continue to offer a free pitcher of soda with the purchase of a large pizza and an appetizer. We have even more offers on our website. So I’ll keep offering what we have now and evaluate it as we go along. I’ll discontinue what isn’t working and keep what does. In the meantime, I intend to enjoy selling pizza and keep in touch with my customers.
